Who I am
The other day I came across some old drawings from when I was ten or eleven. I'd used coloured pencils to very, very accurately draw a copy of an Asterix & Obelix comic cover. Even though some time has passed since then I still have an eye for detail and seek to achieve perfection. Throughout the 12 years of my career working with amazing, creative brains in agencies and in the Unilever marketing team I've nurtured my passion for design, branding and communication concepts and have become a multi-disciplined graphic designer.
My approach is always to deliver the highest standard of graphic design and communication concepts - creative, eye catching, memorable. I see each project as an opportunity to create something outstanding that connects with the audience.
Experience
I graduated in 2003 with a diploma in communication design from the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf in Germany. Since then I gained experience working for 8 years in advertising agencies in Hamburg as a Senior Art Director for some big brands including: Olympus, Ebay, Europcar, Benson & Hedges, OBI (DIY), Velux (Windows), Ergo and Victoria (Insurance).
I moved to London in 2011 and worked until 2015 for Unilever as a Senior Designer for the Global Dove Masterbrand Team. (Note: As some of the work is confidential I'm not able to show my whole Dove portfolio online.)
